Well I strongly disagree and imo you’re making two mistakes here:
1. that Islam is homogenic and inherently intolerant
2. That the west is homogenic and inherently tolerant
Both are false and contradictory. If you’re against muslims you’re being intolerant so you’re basically doing the same of what you’re blaming muslims for.
And history shows that multicultural societies do work, I even listed some examples before of societies/ nations/ empires or whatever who fared well because or their tolerance to an open society and multicultural community.
The US wasn’t so much immigration (of course people were immigrating but the context was different) as it was colonization.
Also there are almost no societies which didn’t have some form of immigration, especially in Europe.
But yeah I feel like a lot of people already have their mind made up and are deaf or indifferent to the factual reality of multiculturalism and immigration, so it’s tough changing people’s mind.
