The second poster says new immigrants blend better, statistics show that crime went up after 2015, yet people are afraid to compile numbers and governments are sweeping under the rug the information, after all they made the mistake of allowing unqualified single males into their territory in record numbers.

For some of those riots, not all were racist. The NYC draft riots had elements of racism in it but it was anti draft. Plus there were whites that saved the black orphans.

You can just keep repeating your underbelly feelings and deny the facts but that isn’t gonna make you right. You have not once offered any proof for your statements that immigration causes socioeconomic problems. Which you can’t because that would mean there wouldn’t be any native swedish crime.

Research proves:
- Problems with crime and immigrants are unlikely due to culture
- problems with crime and immigrants are highly likely due to socioeconomic factors such as, low unemployment, low education, poverty, discrimination and segregation
- Sweden cities are one of the most segregated in Europe
- Crime committed by native POOR Swedes show the same trends

Did I say the solution is “throw more money at then”? No. Solutions which have been given:
- better job programs
- better education
- less segregation
- less discrimination
- language programs
- building trust between government and poor area’s

Less immigration does not fix the problems they are facing now.

But you’ll just keep on ignoring the facts and studies into this subject and keep on rambling about your feelings and underbelly.

If we look at your argument regarding "better education".

* A regular school in Sweden gets around 79,000 SEK (around 8,253 USD) per student per year, while schools in immigrant heavy areas receive and additional 56% per student per year.

* The above is on average but if we look at the infamous place called Rinkeby, the school there receives a whoppin' 250% more per student than many other schools.

* They also have far fewer pupils per teacher, far more resources, home work groups, more school trips etc.

The above is what many students in other schools could only dream about. So for you to talk about better education, it is quite disrespectful of all other students that don't receive the same support.

Ok, so now we changed from "better education" to segregation. Should the minority of youth that are ethnic Swedes be sent by buses to schools in immigrant heavy areas? Is that the solution? Moving students from "problematic and segregated schools" have been tried and failed miserably, the school results in general got even lower and it became a new internal segregation at the new schools in question.

In 2020, 38,6% of the people between 0-17 had some form of foreign background, in Stockholm 47,4%, Gothenburg 53,3% and Malmoe 66,7%.

You are trying to departmentalize, but it's still an immigration problem. And as long as big hearted Sweden keeps on letting in immigrants with no common sense plan for proper integration into society, this keeps happening.

I agree there should be a plan, but as I was saying I don’t know how these newer generation immigrants are doing in Sweden at the moment, if they face the same problems as second generation immigrants face. But reading that these crime/ gang problems are mainly with second generation suggests that new comers are doing better, but I would have to look into that more. European trend at least is that Syrians for instance are far better integrated (which in turn also could be lots of different reasons).

I don't know you so, so I'm not accusing you of being in this category, but I have spoken to many Swedes who admit there is this prevailing attitude that if anything negative is said about immigrants (or descendants of), they will be considered racist. Even if the negative point is completely true and painfully obvious, some will go to great lengths to defend immigration with no solutions to real problems in immigrant communities, while arguing for more immigration. It's like blindly building additional stories on top of a building with a faulty foundation.

And anyone who has a dissenting opinion of the pro-immigration stance is written off as a Swedish Democrat, so society just doubles down on their pro-immigration stances because no way on earth they would agree with any aspect of the Swedish Democrat's immigration argument. So common sense approaches to problems get washed away with political rhetoric.

Well I’m not Swedish so I don’t know about that. Could be true but it’s also often used as an excuses for racist en xenophobic people to talk shit about muslims and immigrants. So it should be somewhere in between I guess.

No we haven’t changed. Less segregated school lead to better education and results. How they should do that? I don’t know I’m not a politician or Swedish policy expert but there for sure people who know more about that than us. It’s just an overall fact that better educated people leads to less crime.
