You know what’s actually interesting. I have had a lot of discussions about muslims with right wing christians and they often have some underlying fear/ hatred for muslims (like they believe the population replacement/ islamization theory) and they think that muslims will have a bad influence on society or culture. But the funny thing is islamic culture has way more common ground with christianity than let’s say secular culture. Especially if you look at human rights, separation of state and church, etc.
So when they say Islam is a threat to western society I always counter with “but what about Christianity” and then their cognitive dissonance kicks in and they come up with lame excuses and exceptionalism claims.

And I think Christianity poses an even greater threat to these human rights because in most western countries they have way more political power. Look at the abortion law issues in the US for instance.

These riots are also an indication that these “influences” from these communities are way over stated. Powerless people riot, people with power change laws in politics.

I've downsized and became a minimalist. I can live a comfortable life working for myself 10 hours a week.

But I do work and nobody subsidizes my life. That's not what a NEET is. They're literally parasites.

I quit bechtel KSA after only 1.5 years though because sausage fest. That was my biggest issue. Couldnt really go clubbing and the 2 American women in whole company were dogs/old. I was 22-23 and had more "work" to do. Oh and 5 am calls to prayer drove me nuts too since I didnt start until 8am

I've always felt the best way to subjugate your people and prevent govt overthrow is to set up a 2 party system and call it freedom. The people are basically split 50/50 (or close, you know what I mean). When people finally get mad enough to flip out and do something to change it you will have to fight half the country before toppling the elites.
Much harder than getting people to cooperate against a dictator, etc.

I did same thing. Went from a 5000 ftsq house (nothing but work) to 1500 where I don't even need to own a screwdriver they do all maintenance. But I still have a garage full of tools from old place like I have an air compressor that weighs 2000lbs and other industrial production tools...was planning on wood working and restoring my vette but golf more fun.

Devastating what's become of Sweden. Used to love visiting that place, like fuck will I be going anytime soon. I often wonder how my female Swedish friends are finding life there nowadays - super liberal in some ways, very afraid in others. For example - chick number 1 is a gigantic social justice warrior, is doing a Masters in Social Work but refuses to ever visit a Muslim country due to being afraid of the men, there. She's visited over 60 countries worldwide.

Chick number 2 is a massive hippy lefty, but shocked me as being anti-vaxx and covid-skeptic during the pandemic (she's a nurse, too). She's the one I'm most interested in, as she's visited lots of Muslim countries and has dated a Muslim guy before.

Anti-vaxx attitudes are pretty common among muslims and African immigrants in general. Stats showed that pretty clearly during the claimedemic. The going explanation is they are less trustful of authorities. Swedes who opposed vaccine mandates did it on principal grounds. The muslims did it more on the basis of not wanting the invisible jews in secret government to poison them.
