It is true it eventually became politicized and the majority were seemingly for it in order to not appear racist, but the huge flood gate of refugees that have permanently changed the demographics of Sweden a few years back was not a democratic move as far as I know, it just happened because lots of refugees poured into the EU, and because technocrats view them as a fix to an issue.

This is exactly what they want you to believe but not really the traditional elites but the populists (who are often also just elites disguised in sheep clothes) do there best to create hate among the population. They feed of that.

We're not talking about 250 years ago when it comes to slavery in the Arab world. We're talking about the here and now. Slavery may have been outlawed in SA in 1969, but it's still happening. In fact, the only place slavery is still out in the open is the Islamic world.

I don't know if I believe that most of the world were slaves. In any case, slavery in the Arab Muslim world never stopped.
- Saudi Arabia only officially outlawed it in the late 60s and that too due to US pressure. But they defacto still have it, so to Kuwait, Qatar, UAE and Bahrain.
- In Iraq, Afro Arabs are still discriminated against and derogatorily called "Abd" which means slave in Arabic.
- Mauritania, a country with an Arab/Berber elite still has slavery; I mean actually slavery.
The Muslim Arab world never really had a problem with slavery, particularly of sub-Saharan Africans, whom they treated far far worse than Whites treated new World slaves.

I didn't read anything in that link about blasphemy laws, but wouldn't doubt that's considered a solution. It's the easy way out after all, if not a long term solution. And to be fair, the excuse given for not allowing the election meetings to take place is because the police would need more time to make preparation. Seeing as there's been riots in cities where this guy never even made an appearance that excuse doesn't hold up to scrutiny.
A power play has been made and the Swedish authorities would rather fold instead of trying to uphold principles. And those principles are that no, not everyone must live by others rules and hold their beliefs sacred. Territorial pissing is a thing.

It's already too late IMO and Islam will continue to gain prominence. Islamic men don't answer to women or feminized men, so they can behave as savagely and as ruthlessly as they do without fear of being ostracized by their societies.

It absolutely is 100% their fault. The idiots thought that people would just abandon their own cultures and would become Swedish overnight. Being secluded and safe in their own little corner of the world seems to have impaired their judgement.
I don't blame the migrants for taking advantage of a people who were so willing to be taken advantage of. But definitely do blame the swedes who did absolutely everything to put such a harmful immigration policy in place. They fucked up and wouldn't listen to anyone telling them they were fucking up.
