Yes? Sweden should've never been in this position to begin with but it is, that point is beyond moot and I don't even blame the Muslims here for the utter failure that is the multiculturalism project. The only thing these people respect is force. It would greatly help if Sweden found some ethnic pride within itself to match such brutal and violent conviction. I think the western world in general needs to reel back the cringe and clown world "liberal values" if it wants to remain globally viable in the future.

Liberalism isn't about being nice or a pushover. It's best core tenets, at least in my view, of tolerance and equality aren't universal values. Seeing as many, if not most people are consequentialists, then the dilemma becomes how to preserve those bedrock principles when faced with those willing to use those same values to subvert them? And this is where it comes in handy not being a nice liberal. What kind of absolute idiot thinks that people willing to use your kindness against you will just cave in if you just try really really really hard to be an even a bigger pushover? You gotta have survival instincts if you want to survive, right?
Tolerance is only a virtue if it's reciprocal. Otherwise it's suicidal altruism and a fools errand. If a relationship isn't mutually beneficial it's absolute shite and not worth continuing in other words.
As with everything else in life, society won't stay liberal unless people are willing to work to that end. The toothpaste is out of the tube in some parts of Europe, but at least put the damned cap back on and reassess if you want to keep going down this road ffs.
And newsflash for all the Islam apologists: that religion doesn't play well with other's as a whole and as seen by the death of cultures it's replaced in the vast majority of places it takes root. So pick one, Islam as it is right now, or keeping liberal values. Left and right in the political sense doesn't factor into it.
As for your first paragraph? Fundamental followers of the religion of insecurity have been quite industrious in destroying symbols of competing faiths, old and new, ad of late. Ain't that something?
