another one who gets excited way too fast. he would fit in perfectly here on sherdog.

I think this far too early to say right now. We got to wait until his career unfolds and than retires.

But interesting opinion / perspective coming from him.

Renowned MMA coach Firas Zahabi is convinced that Khamzat Chimaev is the greatest middleweight of all time.

‘Borz’ put together one of the most dominant performances in title fight history at UFC 319, logging more than 21 minutes of control time against ex-titleholder Dricus Du Plessis.

The fight itself left many fans frustrated with the lack of action, but for Zahabi, it was a performance befitting of a GOAT.

Way too early.

With current performance he shits on Prime Izzy and Anderson. That's for sure.

Firas just wants Khamzat to come train with him. He's such a clown.

Khamzat has a long way to go before becoming the MW GOAT. It's much easier to win a championship than it is to defend the belt multiple times. Anything can happen. I think Ben Askren would have beaten Masdival 9/10 times, but Masdival landed that big knee that changed everything. Same with GSP vs Serra. Khamzat now has to defend his belt against the best of the best in every single fight, with all of the pressure on him. He can't be fighting once a year and pulling out every other fight anymore, or he's going to get stripped.

I would ban Anderson Silva from GOAT talks due to his PED failure. So Khamzat needs to defend his belt what, 5 times to become the MW GOAT? Let's see if he can do that. I have serious doubts.

Firas was a good coach. As a media voice, he's just another terrible "hot take" guy.
