Yeah Reis seems to have very good power in his punches. The ko punch was impressive but the glancing punch that seemed to wobble ferrari earlier in the round might be even more impressive. Ferrari seemed like he just couldn't recover from it even though it was a glancing blow.

It's a mess, he never intended to retire from ONE, went back to get treatment for an Injury in Thailand and someone (without consulting Chatri from what he says) published a post about his retirement. That person is apparently not part of ONE anymore. Chatri wants him back but Sam-A initially refused cause he feels loyalty to Petchyindee and Boat who helped him when he came back and offered 3 fights plan to retirement. ONE convinced him I guess.

Sia boat is just as bad as chatri with all this respect and honour bullshit. Muay thai even in the 80's and 90's etc was always about making money from the fighters perspective. Sia boat lives a much better lifestyle than any of his fighters (always wearing designer gear etc).
Sam-a's number one priority should be to make as much as he can from what is left in his career. How will sia boat take care of him when he retires? Offer him a pittance to be a pad man. He could literally do that in any of the 100's of gyms in thailand.

Buakaw has declined too much to even be ranked in ONE IMO. Also, he still has contract with bareknuckle boxing right? Hopefully it is just an ambassador position.

Promoters in combat sports are pretty much all the same, especially Muay Thai where regulations are pretty much non-existent and there is no line that separate gym owners and promoters.

Remember that all gym owners were against Buakaw back when he exposed that he was trapped in a contract with the Por Pramuk gym. Only when the Thai public were really outraged about the situation that they stopped bashing Buakaw in the media, and Buakaw got to settle the purse split with the Por Pramuk gym.

They should have known their full ONE purses as the fighters must sign the contract in multiple places including the page that states their purse ( we know this from the few times a thai fighter has posted a picture of their ONE contract). Now I will say from most of what I can find it does seem that the majority of Thai promotors when they send a fighter abroad that fighter does not know what his true purse is. Their were a couple of fighters that kiapetch had sent to WLF right before the pandemic like Tawanchai and Capitan who came out and said they did not have any copy of the contract and I would venture to guess had no clue what WLF were paying kiatpetch for them to fight

Thats a good point referring to Buakaw's situation, all the managers and promotors were very adamant that Buakaw should have accepted his place at Por Pramuk no matter what, the class system is still a state of mind in Thailand.
Namsaknoi got blacklisted after leaving Por Pramuk with similar issues.

I recall Sia Boat years ago in an interview getting very irate about how much camp owners allegedly invest in fighters over the years.

He couldn't challenge for a belt he still seems physically fine and half of the ranked guys in One's divisions are cans the other half being elite. I just think he's too hesitant nowadays.
