Law President Free Speech Musk thinks entire news agency should be imprisoned

Definitely a good thing. I trust nothing to be completely honest.
Yet there's a difference between outlets that operate with ethical journalistic principles and those that don't. How about ranking outlets between almost completely honest and repeatedly partisan?

so rad that the most alpha people on earth are constantly watching TV and crying about whats on it. an entire political party made up of 90 year old women watching golden girls and sobbing

Like I said, I like Bloomberg. Most would call it left leaning but I think it’s pretty good.

The issue is that outlets like them or Politico or the AP don’t report on smaller, yet important news so places like NY Post or Twitter fill the gap.

Obviously biased and selective reporting, but none the less they serve as important outlets.

I also like The Hill. I think that’s pretty left isn’t it? No idea.

With the constant bombardment of nonsense Trump has said over the decades. People forgot that Trump in his first term gave Infowars white house press credentials.

Their rhetoric has never been about free speech like that of the far left. Goal is to silence dissenting views and facts.

Your mouth was agape, a fork in each hand, ready to gobble up anything they told you. It's a laugh if you don't think Musk is doing what Trump is accusing CBS of. He's feeding you anything he can spin and by the time it's fact checked the rubes already riled up and repeating it.

OK Canadian.

I condemn fox and their editing as well. Did you miss my entire post?
I am just curious if your outrage was triggered prior or only once you saw a Dem in the spotlight for this, as this has been noted about Trump and Fox for years now?

It seems to me that there you are consistently outraged only once you see a Dem in the spotlight but then will say 'i am also against it when it happens to Trump or magats', but never before.

I’ve consistently held the stance that I want all politicians to submit to long form unedited interviews.

I understand editing for time and the like; of course you've got to do that. Maybe you have to leave some questions out or something like that, and that's fine. My personal issue is that the cuts actually removed parts of the responses while leaving the rest of the question and answer intact.

For example, in the Trump cuts that someone posted on the first page, they've purposely removed parts where Trump is calling Biden a criminal and calling out the news network for ignoring it. Regardless of whether or not they agree with him, that's a part of his answer that they decided shouldn't have been a part of the interview they shared with their audience. That's more that just editing for time or clarity. That's omitting significant sentiments for the sake of their own image. More than that; it's changing what Trump said, which is simply dishonest reporting.
Are you also bothered by the constant stream of ones that came out Fox News and the other various right media, cutting away Trump's 'Senior Moments' and try to always make him sound more coherent? As those were constant.

This is one of MANY that was exposed...

Fox News edited Trump interview days after former president slammed Harris over ‘60 Minutes’ sit down

I'm more asking if you were vocally complaining over the years as we have known Fox and other Right media have been clipping, cutting and editing his interviews for years now, to remove the senior moment wandering, comments that are totally incoherent and just general ramblings that make no sense, all to help present instead someone who can actually answer a question coherently.

This is the first I’ve seen or heard anyone complain about that. After seeing it, yes it’s bad.

And are you surprised by that?

Firstly that you never heard it prior when it has been know for so long, which highlights that you need to get out of echo boxes.

Second that Fox and right wing media would massively edit Trump ramblings to make his seem like something he was not , which is coherent and able to answer questions directly with anything resembling intelligence?

I read the news by topic and compare the headlines between outlets. Ethical outlets don't always get it right but it's not hard to tell which outlets are giving you more spin than facts.

I don't use Twitter. Never used it before Musk bought it, still haven't to this day.

How about you? Did you ever think Twitter was a good source?
Never. I don't have any social media accounts since deleting my Facebook about 10+ years ago.

wait, those two things arent mutally exclusive

Honesty and lack of integrity
Biased and impartial.

If we are going to build bridges in good faith, lets not set traps on them
True, let's say partisanly slanted, that gaslight instead of providing facts.
