For the first point, sure Dana hated him but he hated him because he did his job as a journalist too well. He was not allowed at events because he broke the Brock fight news before the UfC could after it was deemed ok for him to do so. Apparently Dana did not know someone in the ufc told Ariel he could do that hence the banning.

And your second statement is exactly why he owned Schaub and sent him to hell basically. Schaub used that false statement to trash Ariel.
