Media Paulo Costa looking dialed in for UFC 318

Kopylov is technically very good but he does not have that power to scare guys.

If old Costa goes in there he wins this one. I mean the Costa that walked down Yoel Romero.
Wtf? Kopylov has 12 knockouts out of his 14 wins … he most certainly has power!!

Costa only chance is if he grapples!

I am weigin about 235 lbs and when I fight (or call it better training ) I fight at 235 lbs. I never missed weight I always fought on the weight I was

I just re watched the adesanya fight.

That gotta be livin rent free in his head as bad if not worse than Conor has bad dreams about Khabib.

Cliffs:

- Does not believe he ever missed weight. Against Vittori, he fought at 205 lbs at catchweight so he does not consider it missed weight (LOL)
- Wants to finish the fight. Would chase his opponent looking for a finish from the start.
- UFC and him worked out their disagreements. Dispute was over pay.
- After many years of bitterness with UFC and asking to be released from his contract, now praising UFC a lot and how they are helping his weight cut. His weight is on-point
- Extremely upset with Khamzat over threatening messages to his wife. Wants to hurt him badly. Will call out the fight, if he wins this weekend.
- Asked for prediction on Khamzat vs Dricus, he says hard to predict. If he had to put money on someone, he would put it on Dricus Duplessis.
- Promised fans he will make weight this weekend and will do his best to win the fight.

Hopefully he actually fights. He was an interesting prospect but after the Izzy fight he fell off. And he definitely was missing weight vs Vettori thats why they made a catch weight

Yeah he does but I see him more like a volume striker. He also has not fought the best competition... I feel his KO/TKO ratio will drop once he starts fighting ranked opponents.

I hope not tho.. I'm a big fan and I still hate fucking Fluffy for beating him.

We can discuss this fight more during the walk outs, yeah I know thats ridiculous and doesn't give us much time to discuss it lol, but anytime Costa in involved some mysterious problem and issue will arise. He's had way more fights cancelled than has actually happened lol. I need to see both of them at the octagon walkouts to feel like its happening.

It's crazy how far he's fallen.
The fight against Romero was 2 tanks colliding.
Then izzy took his soul and he's never been the same.
Also the delusion that he never missed weight worries me that well just get more of the same from him.

Pretty sure that fight was at 185 big guy until ya know...you missed weight.

Sad how he kind of slided down. At one point he was looking like the next TRT Vitor. Hoping he is going to figure things out and get back on track cause he is surely talented and can produce some bangers.
Yeah that fight with Yoel was the last time he looked like the Terminator matching forward with constant pressure. Fun fighter if he fought like he used to. After getting sniped by Izzy he changed his style to more of an econoreem style and it's hurt his game in my opinion.

I'm a broken record at this point.. Costa has enough fights fall through/cancelled, excuses, other things than training MMA that he's worried about.. why would anyone trust his word at this point? Why would anyone believe in him? Why does he still get high card placement??

I don't know why but I feel like this is going to be Kopylov's coming out party. Would love to be wrong always been a fan of Costa just hard to have faith in the guy these days.
