maybe he's right, who knows. but i doubt he'd be able to pull guard on Islam, nullify much of the gnp, and then get back up to his feet like Oliveira. i think Pimblett is overestimating his skill and he would've been hurt on the feet, ragdolled to the ground, and methodically dissected by Islam's gnp in the 1st rd.

All very annoying, hate the way they speak, so hyperbolic, really trying to be engaging with the way they speak but it comes off so corny.. (not all UK people, just these fighters)

There is nothing strange about British fighters being complete wankers - that's just called being British people.

The reason for almost all the Irish fighters also being complete twats is a bit more mysterious, as Irish people in general are much more tolerable.

Joe Duffy didn't seem to suffer from the same twat disease but I could be wrong.

Oliveira vs islam was fairly even before that last striking exchange. Yes islam was clearly winning round one but damage was fairly equal with Oliveira landing a nasty upkick and islam opening a cut on oliveiras eye. Islam did have control but Oliveira was defending just fine. In the second round though, after a fairly even clinch, islam dominated the standup and got the sub. I doubt paddy can even keep up with islam in the first like Oliveira did

Yea its because he was in there with islam, same way khabib makes everyone look bad or "not themselves" because he intimidates and makes them lose their game from the fear of the grappling etc. its not a coincidence that it happens.

I'm a biased Charles fan so maybe I just don't want to believe it. He is 1-6 in fights outside of the US/Brazil.
