great game, got scary at end for ya, eh? think it'll go 7 still!

The 7th goal was a total fluke. As for the series, the Ducks are doing to the Kings what the Kings did to the Sharks, except that the Ducks would have won by now if it wasn't for that lucky tip in during the last 9 seconds of game 1.

Considering the Ducks are on a 3-game winning streak, I wouldn't be surprised if they finished the series in game 6, especially with their rookie goalie.

Damn dude, first year that you are suffering a loss. It's still just 20 bucks but have you stopped betting for a while?

Yep, I'm taking a little break. I'm not having as much fun with it, which is probably due to multiple things such as having multiple losing events, so many more fights now, busier at home/work, etc. I'll probably still have $10-$20 per event though, just on lines that stand out as way off. I'm on Ellenberger so far.

What is people's opinion on the Vince Pichel V. Anthony Njokuani matchup? I am expecting Njokuani to be the favorite, but i really think Vince Pichel has got a chance and even at even odds i would take Pichel > Njokuani.

how do you see pichel beating njok? he'll be +200 at least, i think. has to get him down, right?

Good luck dude, I hope you mitigate your losses this year.

I capped it around -200 for Njokuani after watching their last few fights. Pichel is wayyyy to slow and stiff on his feet, which is a huge disadvantage against Njokuani, who is an elite muay thai fighter. Njokuani has a good sprawl and should be able to stuff any double legs Pichel attempts in space.

The one advantage I give to Pichel is if he can clinch with Njokuani and land trips up against the cage, these are his speciality and Njokuani has been susceptible to them in the past. The problem is Pichel has a pretty shitty top game and Njokuani is tough to keep down so I expect Njokuani to be able to escape if he finds himself on bottom.

Njokuani is coming off a dominant KO of Roger Bowling who is essentially a much better version of Pichel so therefor I gave him the edge. Should be a fun fight.

i think njok will open around -250, and i think that's about accurate

Yea I would definitely play him at that price. Im hoping that Iaquinta comes out at a decent price as well so I can parlay the two.

The thing is, that Njokuani is hard to hold down, but easy to get down. Pichel is big and can land some powerful shots which can also end the fight. Njokuani has been rocked before and against Bowling he wasnt really dominant. It was an even 1st round with both fighters hitting each other, even though Njokuani was doing better and Bowling was chasing, and then Njokuani landed a really good punch and that was it. I just thought it was so easy for Rafael Dos Anjos to get Njokuani down that i may have underrated him. Right now i am just expecting Pichel to get some takedowns and some gnp which should be enough to secure rounds.

You may be underestimating RDA's wrestling and top control. RDA is pretty competent standing so his transition to the wrestling can be smooth. I see Pichel having a really hard time with Njokuani.

RDA is on a whole different level when it comes to TD's and his ground game. I was actually very impressed with Njokuani's ability to stuff a few TD's and get back up off his back when RDA had him down. It looks like he has been working diligently on his ground game.

Also, Pichel doesn't have that great of a ground game when he gets the TD. He usually holds position and rarely is able to pass to a better position. He doesn't attempt subs either, and doesn't throw as much GNP as he should.

Ye, i am probably overrating Vince Pichel and underrating Njokuani. These underdogs victories are getting to me :D.

“Just had a tornado at our house. Picked up our trampoline and landed on the roof!! Crazy! Anyone else in Temecula area have anything?”

I know this may not be consensus pick by any means but im really considering taking a stab at M. Lawal decision at +324 or so. I don't really see how Mo wins otherwise and I know Mo doesn't have a great chin but he has good wrestling and pretty good striking defense. Well good enough to dodge those hay-makers Rampage throws. I think its a pretty good bet seeing how it pays a little over 3 to 1 and would like to hear some others opinions on that.

I don't know seeing as how Mo's ML is over 2 to 1 right now I would play him straight up. He's got some great GNP and a pretty decent gas tank. If Rampage comes in unprepared, I could see him going to sleep at some point.

Yea I think most people ITT have been saying they're going to play Mo at these odds. Ill likely be on him as well although I have no idea what to expect from this fight, its probably gonna suck when they both gas after 3 minutes.

Hahaha you and me both bro, the last card left me scratching my head big time. Still can't get over Wineland getting KO'd lol.

I honestly expect a sloppy slug fest. This fight depends on Mo's first couple of TD attempts. If rampage stifles him, he's gonna lose confidence and probably get caught.

I think I will just make some small parlays this event. Does anyone know if 5d's will put up props since it's a PPV? I wanna hammer Chandler by TKO if it's available. High striking is so quick and crisp. He's gonna find Will Brooks chin, guaranteed.
