Question for PC players. Im new to PC gaming and have only played FPS with mouse and keyboard. Planning on getting Elden Ring for PC, but will play with a controller. can I use a PS5 controller or is an Xbox controller recommended? does the game system typically recognize what type of controller Im using and suggest the button commands in relation to that controller in the game's UI?
I think a related question should be if PC registers all Sony-signature haptic and adaptive-trigger feedback because all of the above has been integral to current-gen immersion, IMO. You can nock arrows and without loosing, both feel and hear the arrowhead and shaft clatter as it rests against the bow on the PS5. I know titles vary but in general, the DualSense is incredible tech when used to the fullest.
Yes you can use the PS5 controller on pc. Some games even have dual sense now on PC. This will vary from game to game though and relies on the developer doing the work.
Now that I think about it I said some games but it might only be like 1 or 2.
