The UFC has been placing its events on the same day as big boxing events. Its not been shy to compete and often beat the big Canelo cards etc. I dont think HZD will cannibalise ER and vice versa, ER has huge hype and is multiplatform but the last new IP From made sold 5 million and HZD sold double that in 2 years. These From games arent as big as the Sony IPs, and arent its competition anyways. Small overlap sure but not enough to make a huge difference in the overall numbers. I dont think theyll move the date, if anything I think Sony will move HZD since theyll want to maximise sales and not be cannibalised by the smaller titles.

There have been some, sure. But it's just not good business to put a Canelo fight the same night as a McGreggor fight. IIRC, fights have moved nights more than once to accommodate each event. I agree, I could see Sony moving HFW out. As a business, you would want to minimize any risk to your overall sales. Both will sell well, but we know that from previous games, launch days always bring a huge amount of sales volume. Competition from any media (games, movies, music, events etc) should be avoided if possible.

Love FS and everything they did dince Demon's Soul on PS3

Got hyped by ER trailer

Yet somehow got bad feeling about this one
Like, would still be pretty good but not let's say Bloodborne good

When was the last time From released a mediocre project from their A team? Like ever?

Imagine having the bar as one of the greatest games of all time set as a standard, thats how good they are.

Aint no way the hype train stopping. Choo choo motherfucker.

They Never disappoint, but you never know. I once held CD Projekt, Blizzard and Bethesda in high regard. Im not worried at the moment though. only 1 delay by a month isnt a big deal. I still have faith

Its going to be fine.

From deserves at least a little confidence.

At worst we could receive a dark souls 2, but probably we will receive dark souls 4

When did CDProjekt ever get to be in the same status as a Bethesda or Blizzard? They got 1 smash hit but thats about it.

The other two have been on a descension to mediocrity and utter shit for a while aswell. It didnt just pop out of nowhere.

From's last project was Sekiro......

People complain about delays, force company to release product they're not fully happy with, product turns out to be filled with bugs, people complain product is garbage.

I view delays as a good thing.

ok strike them out then; besides the point. The other two still stand in my statement. I used to hold Square Enix in high regard too.

In my experience, whenever a game has more than 1 delay, people use your argument.

yet we still get an unfinished game

I used to agree with this statement until the last few years.

The same goes for Square Enix aswell, its weird. They get bad, then come back and then go back to doing the same shitty thing. Theyre shitty currently but I can see them making a strong comeback.

Dont get me wrong. 1 delay is NBD. Deathloop was delayed and released recently and the game was great.

I did however see this on a discord server where I got all of the other leaks from. Could be fake

I guarantee that leak is bullshit lol. This would never be announced to the teams as a whole until a few weeks before. The oxymoron with most of the game being finished and having another delay just doesnt even make sense here lol.

Not necessarily,

Uncharted 4: Delayed multiple times
RE 4: Delayed multiple times
Dragon Age: Inquisition: Delayed over a year
The Witcher 3: Delayed multiple times
Persona 5: Delayed multiple times

There are more I'm sure as there are many that were rushed out as an incomplete project. Delaying a game, at least to me, means that there is a greater chance devs won't scramble to add missing content months down the line. I hate buying games that don't have all the content.

Yup, delays are never a death sentence. Covid has changed the landscape of game production drastically. I wouldn’t expect anything announced to ship on time for quite some time.

But also
-Fallout 76
-Cyberpunk
-Duke Nukem Forever
-Final fantasy 15

delays are a toss up. I think its perfectly reasonable to be concerned over them.
Im not pessimistic or optimistic, just tentative
