Dont get me wrong. 1 delay is NBD. Deathloop was delayed and released recently and the game was great.

I did however see this on a discord server where I got all of the other leaks from. Could be fake

What makes me think this is fake is that there is no point in breaking up the delay announcements. Why not just push it to March from the get go? Announcing two different delays makes the situation look worse then just one announcement.

Because its fake and created by someone whose never worked in a project management role.

Agreed, although I have no idea what goes on internally with game devs. Its a completely different culture than regular tech industry, which I'm used to.

It seems like they're always putting out fires. In my experience, we almost never see delays in tech, while in the game dev industry its commonplace.

Ive never received a group email in my life regarding a project delay; but its so common in the gaming world that I imagine that they have developed strategies around it

The most unbelievable part about it is openly admitting to development staff that they’re essentially hoodwinking shareholders. The executives would never put that in an email to the development team. People’s careers end over that kind of shit.

Reading the front page From Software vs TES.

From is purposely artistic. Gives small hints for you to form ideas. You find out what led to the demise and who and what is important in the world. And lore of, for example, great heroes or anti-heroes of the past like Havel the Rock. To make them mythological, formidable. And for you to figure out who is villain who is friend. Like fucking Patches. Your role is simple, but also the hardest humanly (or hollowly) to accomplish, game difficulty included. There is thinking and guessing involved. Storytelling is purposely small in amount.

TES has way more lore, and I haven't read half of it, but it's simple to understand what goes on in the world as it's said to you in the early hours of Oblivion and Skyrim (haven't played MW, want a remake). The writing in the books is usually straightforward, sometimes cryptic if the quest demands it. Or what the Elder Scrolls are, the hidden truths. There is way more story and context in TES, but I find the general idea easier to understand.

Both games are very different and at the same time absolutely brilliant. And will buy Elden Ring. But am more excited for TES 6, as the tech available currently gives it so many more options.

She works for Bandai?
Funny you ask because I was just snooping around figuring who she is myself; she seems in the know on some projects or has industry friends, colleagues, connections. She works in data analytics, iirc, and is platform-impartial while herself a gamer. I might follow or stop in on her feed more to share with Dawgdom if I can learn more.

She's a 'leaker' whose already notorious for getting several things wrong. Thing is the extra month isnt used for development, its for polishing and squashing bugs. Its not to pace development....
Ah, appreciate it, Jo. She caught my attention today on posting some behind-the-scenes re: how VG showcases work, then I saw her talking From and ER.

Had to reread, thought that said " i am Melina. I offer you an acorn"
Given how cryptic the lore will be for us to piece together, I would not be surprised to be gifted a golden acorn at some point and asked what we wish to do with it, ha.

a) Plant acorn
b) Consume acorn
c) Drop in bird's nest
d) Give to weeping NPC
e) Place atop head while fully disrobed and thrice circle the great rune
(e) is correct.

I'd miss out on an ending because i'd give it to Pickle Pee, he'd probably give me a seed for something else in return because he's nice like that.
