I just hope we get to see Dricus du Plessis vs Strickland II sometime in early 2025.

If UFC can actually arrange it in Seth Efrika(think.... Pronunciation) then all well and good and HUGE event there for sure. But wherever it happens I want that fight.

My view is, politically, Visa-wise, and permit wise...... Whatever you wanna call it...... Chimaev is problematic due to his association with dictators / people like Kadyrov so.....I think the Strickland II fight does happen as it's less complex in regards to future event logistics and political difficulties etc. There are SOME things that the UFC cannot fix....

All these factors will play a part in what the UFC management decides to do.

His visa issues seem mostly based on rumors, according to him and Dana they are false. He's been to England, USA etc recently and is going to Australia later this year.

Good on Dricus too, he said he doesn't care at all about where they fight .

Fresh matchups > rematches vast majority of the time including this one.

Normally I fully agree. But watching the fight I had Sean winning. So it was a razor thin or poor judging. So this one I would love to see run back.

Personally I think Khamzat destroys both however I am not sure why DDP goes out of his way to avoid a rematch or he knows it will happen eventually so he trolls. I mean I am sure DDP has re-watched the Sean fight so he knows it has to happen, I would think the rematch would be an easy win for him instead of this other crazy guy. Either way the division is now stacked so no need for anyone to think of moving up weight classes, IMO Khamzat will be hard to beat once champion.
