Business wise its not really worth having him fight Ulberg or face Jiri or Ank a third time if he can get a Jon fight or HW title shot instead. The guy is pushing 40 and has just managed to get his momentum back in the best possible way when most people didnt expect it. Theres probably limited time to work with now so they should prioritize the biggest possible fights.

At Alex's age and after a mythical performance like that, I totally agree that he needs to only take Superfight at this point. It would be sad in a way if Ulberg knocks him out, and the way MMA is, there is a decent chance of that happening, as Poatan is older and will have an adrenaline dump after that victory and facing an opponent that doesn't have much of name yet.

I agree, at the same time as many have accurately pointed out, Ulberg has enough wins to ask for a TS.

Ulberg has really only beat Reyes, a washed Jan and Volkan. Ulberg can fight Jiri or Ank in the meantime now that Pereira is willing to fight at HW.

After that he can fight Khamzat for LHW belt if he beats Imavov.

If Poatan decides he wants to fight at HW against the winner of Tom/Gane, that's fine. Let him vacate and move up I guess. There's not that much going on up there so he wouldn't be stepping on any toes to do so. Otherwise he should stick around and fight Ulberg.

I doubt Jones comes back to fight him -- especially at 205 -- but if he does it should be just some random legacy fight, not with a belt on the line.

Khamzat just got the strap at 185. Can we chill with the idea of him moving up to 205 already?
