My big stupid hype trains thread.

It's a thread where I post little snapshots about fighters who impress me. People seem to like it. I don't think it's a big deal that it has the word my in it.
Why did you add stupid to the thread title. Explain that since youre so wise.

I never claimed to be wise. It's a thread where I post my opinions. You are free to give a shit about them or not give a shit about them.

I dont have a problem. Its you who has a problem. Its not his thread. Its whoever owns this websites thread.
We run a socialist realm on the worldwide forum. We seized the means of production. It is ours

My favorite thread on sherdog.

Not sold yet on Buchecha he met with no resistance to his take down. Did not see any real standup.

Was so proud of Stamp but she still has a long way to go. Ritu just isn't very good.

But if Stamp beats the champ maybe Thailand will take notice of MMA.

So hoping Lee will come back rusty and off. LoL

Great day for me. Less great day for you all haha.

Crutchmer beat Enkamp. It was surprisingly entertaining, a lot of interesting grappling exchanges. I appreciate that Enkamp tried to do a lot of scrambles instead of just fighting hands to prevent punches. Crutchmer to 8-1.

Hamel beat Mota. Hamel isn't a serious prospect but very much a little train that could. Good for him.

Eblen beat Huckbody. I was very sad about this matchup, to the end I was hoping that someone's corner would get asymptomatic covid because I liked both. But I like Eblen more so this is a good result.

Waters beat Bojorquez to move to 2-0.

And Josh Silveira beat Revel to move to 7-0.

So good day, everyone won. And I was also rooting for Shabliy and he won as well. So everything went as planned.

As expected, that Brojef guy was here and gone within a few hours.

Silveira - Revel isn't a can so a win is a win, he didnt look amazing but Id like to see him defend each belt once before deciding on a division and hitting the UFC.

Bellator was a bit meh to me so I tuned into LFA. All aboard the Carpenter hype train. The dude has a certain swagger and the skills to match, fantastic KO.

Really like Reinaldo Ekson. With the Pitbull connection maybe Bellator has the upper hand to sign him

@Hellowhosthat

Whats the lowdown / summary of the following two LHWs?

Elkhan Musaev
Zac Pauga

Musaev is a very strong wrestler with good control who has pretty active ground and pound. Will out muscle a lot of guys at that division, only loss was to Smoldarov at HW who's much bigger than him.

Pauga is another physically strong dude who comes forward well, I don't think there's anything particularly special about him skills wise though, but he's decent enough.

Clayton Carpenter

Country - USA
Weight Class - Flyweight
Age : 25
Promotion - LFA
Record : 5-0

Really spectacular performance this time out from Clayton as he absolutely blew through Rodney Kealohi with a spectacular head kick which completely stiffened him. I was already high on his grappling, but adding this kind of dynamic, quick and powerful striking makes him a different level of threat entirely. Trains out of a good gym in MMA Lab so you know he's getting quality rounds on. Called for a shot at the belt after the fight and although Charles Johnson is tricky and much more experienced I think Clayton could well have the skills to beat him.

Josh Silveira

Country - USA
Weight Class - Middleweight
Age : 28
Promotion - LFA
Record : 7-0

Josh was given a really tough test in his quest to become a two division LFA champion and he passed it very well. It's one thing watching a prospect blow through competition of a similar experience level, but it's another thing for them to put on a dominant performance against a tough and high level vet. Josh showed high output, good cardio, excellent entries to takedowns and good ground and pound to outhustle a 2nd degree BJJ black belt on the ground for 5 rounds. Now he's dropped to MW which appears to be his proper weight class, he's definitely ready to move on to the UFC imo.

I'd like to see Musaev in the UFC soon. The 205lb division doesn't really have its Dagestani wrestler, as the other divisions do - Ankalaev prefers to strike, for the most part.
