Rented a car this week because I had so much driving to do for work, returned it this morning & was planning on jogging back home (about 2.2 miles), but as soon as I started jogging, my lower back got extremely tight. Jogging was painful so I ended up walking most of the way back home. Back loosened up over the course of the walk. Feels fine now.

Great workout today, not quite a rep PR on bench (1 rep shy) but more reps than I expected, since my bench hasn't been great lately. Squats were on point. DB Bench was tough but felt good.
 
Sometimes really funny shit happens when you start to get older. And by funny I mean, really pathetic. Like going to bed at night, sleeping & waking up with a mystery pain. It happens - how the hell do you sleep wrong?

Here's my latest one. Pulled my hamstring about 2 weeks ago. Not sure how. It's still a little tight so last night I was stretching it. Now it looks like I pulled something in my left hip while trying to stretch my right hamstring. So today my hip hurts. Probably won't squat today as planned unless the hip pain mysteriously disappears...

Been hitting the jacuzzi & stretching mostly. Also doing some bodyweight leg curls & squats at random times during the day.

I have a gym idiot story today. At my gym, there is almost no room between the squat racks. Literally about 3-4" between the ends of the 2 barbells, if the pegs are at the same height. (So maybe Gold's Gym is the true idiot). Needless to say, you usually alternate sets with the guy in the rack next to you & don't change weights etc, when someone is lifting in the rack next to you. So I get ready for my last set of squats & I'm planning on 5-8 reps (8 would be a Rep PR). As soon as I unrack the bar & step back, the idiot in the rack next to me steps between the 2 racks & starts unracking weight plates and stacking them on the ground between the 2 squat racks. So I'm squatting & he is basically bent over underneath one end of my bar, pulling a bunch of weights off & stacking them. Super retarded & threw me off enough that I only got 5 reps. I was pissed. Told the guy he shouldn't be between the racks while someone is lifting - it isn't safe & it's also distracting. I tried to be nice but I think I probably scared him a little because I was slightly out of breath & he could tell I was pissed. Oh well.

Other than that, it was a really good workout. Hamstring, Back & hip didn't bother me during the workout...will continue stretching...

Went to the park & did a few throws today, but my back got really tight, so I stopped early. Everything felt really good, was working on turning my right foot on stones & on keeping my head up on LWFD.
