I thought you might have died during your 45th birthday workout... How did it go?

And don't stop logging!

I didn't get a chance to do it. I got flooded out my house by a heating pipe leak. i spent much of holidays moving in and out of my home.

I'm currently training for a rock climbing comp in February. So most of my training will be geared towards that.

The situp to hamstring stretch makes me think...

With all the stuff you are doing, you should probably go and study Ashtanga yoga, if you can find a way to fit it in. I reckon you'd love it, and with your level of application and athleticism, you'd probably get good at it really quickly. They do all sorts of cool things involving bodyweight, as this video shows:

(Mind you, the main guy is pretty advanced.) Each series is a continuous sequence of postures, similar to the sun salutation (although you hold stuff for 6 breaths, not just one breath), which typically goes on for about 90 minutes depending on the pace you go, just flowing from position to position with all sorts of cool transitions and really athletic things.

Monday 2/7

2 hours top roping. hit 5.10s and 5.11s all night. that left me beat.

I think all of the shoveling has begun to takes it's toll on my body. I can feel my back twinge on certain moves. It's kind of sucking the energy out of my workouts as well. I need to rally for a strong post climb workout.
