First of all its a matter of taste. But I have been all over and have found things I loved about everywhere. But personally I don't like oppresively hot humid climates with huge populations of poor people begging. A place like Bangkok isnt my cup of tea, no knock on it for others. I also don't care for hookers so that doesn't appeal to me. Here is a Bucket list if you havent been:
My favorites:
1. NYC/London--Concrete jungles but covered with gorgeous parks, museums, incredible restaurants, nightlife and culture. Both cities have areas that you can escape the tourists and find bomb ass things to do with live music, sports, and hikes/cuisine. Obviously London food isnt as great as NYC but there are some.
2. Amsterdam--Top 3 city for me. I love Art and holy sheeet, they got that. Friendliest people ever. Food is meh, but the weed and drink is great. I met a bunch of Dutch women and they stayed with me in my hotel all week...Then I stayed another week with them in a flat in a city called Utrecht on a canal. It was amazing. I asked one of the women to Marry me at the end of the trip and we dated for 5 years.
3. Dublin/Galway/Kilarney--People are awesome, bars are amazing, music is life. Food so so but you don't care because its so much fun and people are so cool.
4. Cabo San Lucas--A paradise, great seafood, nightlife, fishing, so easy to get laid. Touristy but that isnt a bad thing here.
5. Munich---Oktoberfest---Best memories (partial) of my life. A bucket list must do and see.
6. Rio-Go for carnival at least once in your life. Get a guide or a local as it isn't the safest. But its amazing to experience, just keep your eyes open. Food is awesome, easy to get laid, but also get taken advantage of. I swear, I went for slightly chubby, lighter skinned women and was fine.
6. Nola--Don't go during Mardi Gras, too many thugs and idiots, go after. The smell of piss is gone by then. March isn't too hot yet. This place is for drinkers, if you don't drink, skip it. Oysters and Po Boys good, so are the drinks. If you are racist don't go.
7. Key West--Absolute paradise. Again, drinking is big. Fishing, music, Fantasy Fest is a sight to see. Pussy wall to wall, some old though.
8. Prague--Must see, one of the coolest cities on Earth. I do get the feeling that some nefarious shit is all around you but you dont see it lol. Awesome architecture, art, food, women are on average, hottest in Europe.
9. Vail/Crested Butte/Aspen/Breckenridge--Had to pick a ski town in Co. Its Gods country. Love them all, some are expensive do research to fit your needs, even Keystone is cool. Taos, NM, and Jackson WY are also amazing.
10. Las Vegas--Its just a 24hr party with some amazing Nightlife and food. Obviosly casinos. But also a short drive to Lake Mead, Hoover dam, its a fun city.
Bucket list left: Scandanavia, want to drink with my Viking brothers. Belgium, Italian cities.
Didn't like: Paris--Loved the city, art, architecture, but the people are downright rude, and I can handle rude. But They are arrogant rude.
Miami-It has changed. Like a Big Daddy Yankee video now. Still great food and nightlife, but there is a bad element now. Went down for a concert and couldn't find one place playing anything but Latin Music. So its an example of one culture overpowering everything else. Just a taste thing, My GF is Latin, I love the culture but Miami is different.
SanFran-Liberals ruined this cool city, homeless everywhere, shit everywhere, Gay rights parades every other day, better to drive over the bridge to nappa.
