For my DIY Home Depot sherbros, can I buy these ingredients and mix Roman concrete myself? I guess I would also need to know how to heat up the materials before mixing it....

I have been intrigued reading up on this for the past few days.

I’ve been amazed since I was a wee tot, that we still had no idea what was in the concrete mixture or what made it so strong.

And to think, all along it was the material they thought was a defect.

- Some people says its because the whale fat (oil?) used. But i honestly dont know. I know we have 200 years old churchs here, that look like new. And modern buildings last close to 60 years.
