UFC def thinks arman faked that injury cause he was gonna miss weight, fact his back is fine I think makes me believe that might be true.

Its what it is, the UFC said he was gonna have to fight again and they owe Chandler a fight and if you're Arman its one he should win so. Wonder if this makes Islam/Topuria rumor thats going around have more credibility.

I'd rather see Arman/Gaethje so if Justin wins, it's at least a top 5 guy Islam hasn't fought so he'll have beaten all of the top 4. Chandler is actually a dangerous fight for Arman too with good wrestling and KO power, but if he wins, that's still a dude with a losing record in the UFC fighting for the title.

Way more recent than Stipe's last win, and he didn't even have to fight the #1 contender and just jumped over an interim champ to fight for the title. At least Chandler would have to beat the #1 contender.

This matchmaking sucks, why not make a 5-round Arman vs Charles 2 since the first fight was a split decision. Now it'll just be a win over a guy Charles has beaten twice or an undeserved title shot for Chandler.

I wish we could see prime Chandler against these guys, Chandler back then would give anybody who are grappler based a run for their money. But now...he's well past it clearly. I'd say Arman by gnp, or maybe sub will be there. He's pretty hard guy to sub though, but when you are aging and past it, everything soon follows...

Eh I mean outside the 5th round, Chandler didn’t really do a whole lot but survive. Even in the fifth round, he only came close to a finish due to illegal shots. I thought he looked slow and sluggish mostly. He’ll be 39 soon. If this fight happened in 2022 or even 2023 I think it would be a lot closer.

It's gross that Chandler can only fail upwards in the UFC.
If he didn't have Dana white privilege he'd be fighting Dawson or Alvarez (coming from fw) or a CANtenders alumni who got Dana hard, a fight or two ago.
