Why have I not updated my log? Actually I did workouts but they were not significant enough in my eyes to be posted on this forums. I would have thought: Why is he posting this?
The news are: Doing workouts without a real plan doesn't fit me. I need to know what to do before I leave to the rowing club. When I'm at the training without a clue of what to do I spent more time thinking of great workouts than actually doing them.

So here I go again:
I decided to to do the 3 day 20 rep squat sched. Last time I did it I started at ~50kg. This time I started at 75kg. Adding 2,5kg each session. Let's see how far I get during the next 4 weeks. When I hit 20x100kg graedy will reward me with a nice ice. I wont dissapoint him on this.
What I do besides squats I'll decide at each session. But I will stick to upper body workouts, because there is a lot to improve. I think of dips, db rows, chins, pullups and such. Maybe some v situps. Summer is ahead ;) Although I don't focus on my body's shape like graedy does ;) I was positivly surprised to see my abs on day.
I don't like my huge legs and my growing ass I gained of the squats. But I love 'em so much. I would never prefer a perfect look over doing squats.

So here's what I have done last days and how I started my new sched. Finally there will be something to report over the next weeks. I'm glad to record efforts again.

oh noes, I just had a look on my notes. They're too depressing. I'll just post the last session.

squats: 20x75kg
DBrows: R:1x25x35kg L:1x21x35kg
Dips @bw: 10,9,8,7,7
Chins: 10,10, what happend to the last set? ...

Graedy had his great farmer's walk performance @2x75kg over 1 and ~2 roomlengths.
I was impressed and tried myself. I wasn't even able to lift the two db. Instead I hurt my lower back. Can't quite move. I hope it's alright tomorrow so I can keep going!

Whoa why have I not seen this earlier?
I remember I saw a new post on this thread, but when I clicked it I have not seen this post but now I do.

One of the last spots you are starting to loose bodyfat is the abdominal region. so you still carry this little gut.
But the gut has gotten smaller and from looking at your arms I can defintelly tel that you have lost quite an amount of fat the last couple of weeks.
If you keep the candyconsumption low and keep drinking lots of water I bet that you will keep loosing fat. Slowly but surely.

Things go well. Since I have my bike, I totally refuse to use the car. So there is nearby no day I don't drive a few kilometers.
I also payed more attention to my breaks between workouts and sets. Means, cut them down to a minimal. Thjs could be connected to me training alone. None to talk to. Lots of curl monkeys present.

Squats: 20x77,5 kg
Dips@bw: 12,11,8,8,9
DBrows L:1x20x35kg R:1x22x35kg
Chins: 10,8,8

The squats went really smooth, I pushed myself not to take breathing breaks but once for short. Looking forward when they are going to burn and hurt. I guess late next week.

It's interesting to see the difference between this and the last workout.
You can see my DBrows and Chins were affected by doing more dips and squats this time.
Let's keep an eye on this. I'm curious.

Edit: I just recognized I did the dips before the DBrows this time. I think I'll leave it to that.

hey, I'm just coming home right now. I found a letter from Marion: "...sucht sein blaues Trainings-Ding..."
Why would I want to rip your log? Seriously.
When I take sth. of the locker, I lock it when I leave the room. Everytime. My hands are clean.

Today there was a good atmosphere at the weightroom. Had a lot of fun.

Squats: 20x80kg
Dips@bw: 13,13,9,8,7
OHP: 3x12x15

Afterwards we played around with cleans and overhead squats. I also did some curls. Dare me.

bad day, bad performance, bad shape. nothing to add. just squats.
20x82,5kg
+2.5kg each session till I die. Just to remember.

So, finally here comes the update.
About 3 weeks ago a crashed into a heavy depression. I don't want to go into the details but I can say it was very 'close'.
Beeing so, lifting was not of enjoyment for me in the last days before I went to the mental institution. I even did not enjoy wasting my time on the computer. Red alert.
With the help of graedy and all my friends and family I managed to get treated and now I would consider myself 'stable'.

I could not manage to do my 3 sessions a week. But when I was at the rowing club, I've made progress.
Today I reached 20x95kg squats.
2 sessions to go for my ultimate goal of 20x100kg.

I stood up early to prepare me mwntally for leaving the house today. It took about 3 hours till I was ready to leave. So I arrived at 11am at the club and started my squats.
Afterwards I did a benchpress, benchpull and pushdown circle.(numbers unworthy to quote)
Then I did cleans 7x3x70kg.
Then I did some dips and betweens sets I trained to do the headstand (works quite well).
At last I spent 10 mins on the stationary bike @175W/100upm.

This wasn't fun at all. It was more like beeing on duty. The circle was kind of a torture.
I guess I had to punish myself for not beeing straight with my training and my log.

I try to go to the rowing club every morning from now on to get used to a regular day schedule and to rediscover my love for the pain.

I did it.
Today I managed to cut 2 hours of my time needed to prepare leaving the house.
I completed a task I planned and ignored for months now (which is simple sending 2 letters with forms).

I did some overheadpress, bentoverrows, pushdowns, some abs work and finally a few curls today. As usual, no fun at all. But I did something.

You're asking what this shitty log is all about?
Currently it's about me getting back to life and starting strength training again in a few weeks.
And the primary objective regarding muscle stuff is doing the 20x100kg squats so I can go back on doing normal weightlifting. Graedy needs an antipole.

Glad to read that your doing better regarding the depression. I too suffer from it from time to time and take Paxil for it- the symptoms I get are extreme agitation and anger.

"I even did not enjoy wasting time on the computer." That IS serious business!

now treat yourself to a couple of really expensive 'female escorts". :D

Many months ago I promised Vla a huge cup of icecream if he ever manages to squat 100kg for 20 ATG reps.

I am sure that I will very soon have to buy him this cup.

IF one of us manages to bring a camera we gonna videotape the set.

Hell, yeah! There is no better prozac than a woman!
I wished I had your agitation. For me it's the exact opposite bound with the great feeling of nothingness and failure.

Good luck and nice squatting

Thank you!

Today I overslpet a bit. I'm not sure if I do my 20x97,5kg squats today or tomorrow.
But I'd like to do some pushpress today and I'm affraid they could get in my way with my plans.
I think I'll do the squats and then pushpress afterwards. If the squats go well, the 20x100kg squats are scheduled for sunday.
Let's see.

Success!
20x97,5kg. 100kg, here I come.
Afterwards I refreshed myself with doing push presses, pushdowns and rocky iv's.
Latter had a bad form. I think my core strength is still too weak. Will work on that.

Today I did a circuit consiting in bench press, bench pulls, push downs and rocky iv's.
Afterwards I wanted to do some cleans, but I noticed my lower back is still a bit sore from the squats. Also, the rocky iv's are going heavy on it.

YouTube - Squats, 20x100kg@84kg

here it is! nothing to add.

I have not been to the rowing club before doing this set to be rested.
Now my goal is reached, I have to find myself a new one.
I'd like to do 180kg deadlifts some time, hopefully this year. What do you say, is +30kg a realistic goal for the end of the year?

I will work on my benches also. My squats are fine. So I analyzed my logs and found out, that I always did a huge amount of volume and high weight sets on them. Maybe this will work on benches, too.

For the fun and overall condition I'll do _teh cleans_. They're l33t and awesome.

I'm leaving now for my daily session.

Nice. Very nice. You deserve your icecream for this set.
