lol my sister isn't on progesterone (rx?) and I haven't smoke in 40 days, but still failed a home test (after smoking heavy for 4 years straight) so substitution was the way to go

progesterones a female hormone during menstruation. all females start producing this hormone @ different quantities after puberty

The only people I've known to be tested were trying to gain access to their children via court.

Drug testing is pretty common for corporate jobs. Anybody who pays a decent wage can afford to be selective about who they bring on board, this is just one more qualification. Don't do drugs. Well maybe powder cocaine occasionally on weekends, that's a hideable habit. Other than that, don't do drugs.

Either that or work somewhere drug testing isn't common. Seriously, I've never known anyone drug tested by an employer in the UK.

That's true, a committed American drug addict in search of a new job should really consider simply relocating across the Atlantic. Simpler solution overall.

yeah .. not in canada ... i think they only do here for jobs like truck drivers etc .. i could be wrong .. i work for a large company and we don't do ... kinda goes against your rights i think .. i think they can test for impairment in certain jobs, but not use on own time ... so they can do spot breathylzer's and pupil checks on the job

Although in the US Marines many of the guys in this thread would fail the test. The piss test observers are required to stand right next to you watch the piss go directly in the bottle.

Leaving the country specifically to go to a place where drug testing is less common is pretty drastic I agree. People usually have more than one reason for emigrating though.

This is funny. I actually took a drug screening test at a Quest yesterday. My impression was that if you knew what it was going to be like (pretty much exactly like OP described), it would be a piece of cake to cheat it.
