Jones Fought Gane early 2023 in March then they negotiated the Stipe Fight this was already being talked about back then.'
I can't say this enough you bozo - Stipe was retired and coming off a KO loss in 2023. Why in the world would someone who just got murder KO'd and sat out for 2 years be up for a title shot?
This is common sense.
Fight, Aspinal had only had 6 fights in the UFC and the last fight he had was against Blaydes which he lost back then. Then Aspinal was out for a year.
"Only 6 fights" yes you mean he went 5-0 with 5 stoppages, 4 of them in the first round? He then injured his knee against Blaydes.
He would fight Tybura 4 months after Jon fought Gane. FOUR MONTHS.
The fact that Jon took another year off and still wasn't forced to fight the clear #1 contender is absurd, even by UFC standards.
Stipe was smart he waiting for the Jones fight because it’s the money fight and now
he can retire into the sunset with his big payday.
Yes and water is wet bozo. Everyone understands digging up the bones of Stipe to get beatup after 4 years off was for a payday.
You are the only dumbo saying it made sense for the sport or the division.
This is a business in case you’re wondering. It’s all about the money.
Which is why Dana has verbatim said Jon will fight Tom Aspinall or vacate the belt. Its bad press and bad for business to stretch the circus beyond its footing.
