Media Jon Jones says Tom Aspinall is an "a**hole", "I don't want to do business with him"

Man, the excuses just keep coming. Dana has got to be seeing this and its a bad look for the UFC.
He literally changes his excuses almost daily now.

A different excuse every day.

I don't know what's more hilarious, his ducking of Tom, or his last few nut huggers white knighting his endless ducking. Lol

Can't wait for this Stipe vs Jones to happen and we can all move on from this. I will laugh though if Jon is trolling everyone and he ends up fighting Tom.
IMO, he'll beat Stipe and he'll keep the belt hostage for six months to a year
He'll tease fighting Pereira or maybe even a Tom in that timeframe, but he'll just waste everybody's time and retire without fighting again

Idk how long the UFC would allow that, however they seem to let Jon do whatever he wants now lol

Because wanting to unify the "Interim Belt" with the actual "Championship Belt" is such an asshole position to take....

<WhatIsThis>

As I said before, pure narcissistic sociopath that will push whatever narrative necessary to make himself the good guy when he's literally been the bad guy his entire life.

Legendary fighter, legendary POS.

At first he said Aspinall doesn't deserve to fight him. Then the reporters listed Aspinall's accomplishments compared to his own when he fought Shogun for the belt. And how Aspinall is so much more accomplished than he was at that time.

Then he flipped and said actually he does deserve it and hopes he has a great career but he just wants to be selfish at this stage of his career. Said he has no ill will towards Aspinall.

Then he flip flopped again and said the actual reason he won't fight Aspinall is because he's an asshole and he doesn't do business with assholes.

This is officially the biggest and most blatant duck in UFC history. Jon is floundering and can't even get his story straight. Clearly wasn't prepared for the media to actually challenge him and he ended up looking like a fool.
This is what the media needs to do, collectively. Fuck off with the softball questions.

What's Dana going to do...ban everyone from pressers? Stop promoting their own events and cancel pressers entirely? What's Jon going to do? Stop talking about himself?

Double down on calling Dana out for being scared to answer the tough questions. Put Fragile Bones on the hotseat and enjoy the fallout from his meltdowns and behaviour.

Journalists hate each other, they're as selfish as the fighters themselves. Too bad, working together they could give Dana a stroke and have him looking over both shoulders.

You aren't wrong but being Dana's friend seems to be more appealing then doing their actual job.

Ding Ding Ding ! <mma4>

the actual reason he won't fight Aspinall is because he's an asshole and he doesn't do business with assholes.

Lies !

Pico spoke on video about putting his finger in that comedian's b-hole,

Everyone in the audience could tell Jon certainly meant to do his business.

Biggest duck, OK. Or did you miss the "i" and hit the "u" - either one works.

Jon is right. Everyone wants to see him lose. There's always gonna be a "no, THIS is the guy who can beat Jon. If Jon doesn't fight him tonight, then he's ducking him!!"
Nah cuh...I get what you sayin, but this ain't that. This is THE fight Jones needs to take to show n prove. His record with all the cheating, ducking and dodging DC at HW, conveniently not fighting Francis, Overeem or any other HW beasts in their prime....hell nah B.... No excuses for not fighting Tom. None...zero...nada

Imagine if everyone turned down fights because their potential opponent was an asshole. There'd be hardly any fights.
Or turn them down for the following reasons:
1. “it does nothing for my legacy”
2. “He’s #1 contender but he really didn’t do anything”
3. “I really don’t want to gamble fighting this guy”
4. “I don’t want this guy to make a name off of me”

If any current ufc champion said this , they’d be laughed at 24/7. But since it’s Jon Jones, ufc is behind him. It’s mind boggling that they are hurting the HW division and their brand.

I see the same cast of crybabies in here every time jones tweets something mean. Followed by their usual temper tantrum threads and posts on sherdog. Followed by yelling and crying about jones. Followed by depression and understanding that they are helpless in any of it.

It’s important that many of you who cry uncontrollably from jones tweets understand why you cry, and why it can be hard to stop, and whether you're crying too much.

When we experience intense feelings, such as sadness, joy, fear, or frustration, crying can be an outlet to release emotions when words fail. Crying can also be a powerful form of nonverbal communication, which can signal to others that you need support, comfort, or empathy in these hard times when jones makes a tweet.

If you're concerned about the amount you're crying or if your tears feel uncontrollable and overwhelming, consult a professional.

A healthcare provider can help you determine whether your crying and sadness is within the range of normal emotional expression, or if it indicates a more serious condition.

This is just pushing a false narrative, how has Tom done anything out of the typical UFC norm?

There are lot more assholes in the UFC and Jones is near the top.

Digging for excuses like this just make it look like he's actually ducking.

He’s right, Tom is an arrogant prick. Tom got his career advanced purely on Jones getting injured. He’d still be in the same position today, as Sergei was supposed to be next in line after Jones/Stipe fight was originally scheduled. Glad he’s fucking him here.
