a lot of charities improperly manage their funding and donations. its extremely common. they waste money on absolute crap. i'd rather hand the money to someone with cancer directly and let them do what they like. would be hard to have that full 50k go to good use wherever you put it. maybe there will never be cure for cancer but its certain the chances of finding one are much less under the current system.

the government should be paying for top notch facilities for people suffering from uncurable diseases. not random people or celebrities.
