I don't get it.
Jiri is a finisher and powerpuncher. His best chance of winning is to pressure and be aggressive. He's not gonna win fights by outpointing his opponents or counterstriking. He doesn't have the refined skill of Poatan or Adesanya.
You sound like you think his samurai philosophy causes him to have bad defense. Those are two seperate things.

Says he ran into Poatan in Mexico and spoke with him a bit. Says he has a good respect for him.
