I think Alex is done with LHW and close to retiring. Which is why they would make this fight.

I'm more surprised by this Poll.. I'll be rooting for Jiri but Ulberg is I figure the favorite.... not here... Jiri by a mile...

I have rooted for Ulberg in all his previous fights, but will be pulling for Jiri this time. I see Ulberg lighting Jiri up early in this one, and it will all come down to how Jiri's chin holds up. Will Ulberg's early connections put Jiri out, or merely wake him up ? If Jiri survives the blitz and goes into life or death bloody warrior mode, Ulberg's desire and chances may fold.

Allegedly there were some negotations before christmas, which are supposed to continue in upcoming days, but i dont think that they are anywhere "close" to close that deal unless title is on line.



BTW Yes. "Duckberg" is ideal name for what he did. Declining fight vs #2 because of "injured" elbow..."injured" elbow which healed instantly after Jiri signed vs Rountree...
