Izzy will retire as soon as Alex gets close to a Ts

not impressed with Alex...he was getting tagged last night. izzy could easily destroy him....idk maybe weight cut to WW might have an effect. maybe fighting at MW would be better for him....let have him fight Bobby knuckles ar MW.

Nothing happened last night that will keep Izzy up at night …probably the opposite

Weight cut to ww …..you still going with the pride weight classes

He already beat Izzy lol. He’s the superior kickboxer

lol, he lost 90% of those 2 fights. Watch them.

Gifted a judges decision. Then Izzy is winning again... and thinks do I want to leave this to the judges?

History is made and Alex moves from a no name kick boxer who would barely register, to the next great hope for insecure Adesanya haters

Yeah I just watched Pereira vs Silva and I think Izzy is doing just fine.

Not an especially impressive performance from Pereira in my opinion.

Silva is absolutely no pushover and that’s why I’m worried with how Pereira was fighting, if he struggled with a high level fighter how is he going to deal with an elite level fighter who’s more well rounded with wrestling and JiuJitsu.

Personally I think they’re going to feed Till to Pereira. He’s a very favourable matchup and is ranked.

Are you Alex's manager or 2nd cousin? He got taken down rather easily by a smaller bjj guy turned kickboxer. Even striking wise Alex couldn't finish a lesser striker. This is suppose to be his showcase fight. If anything Bruno Silva's stock went up as an underrated striker.

The way he looked last night... I wouldn't be surprised if everyone in the TOP 10 beats him. Got tagged and taken down easy.

Every single great has had a tough, gritty fight climbing up the rankings. For Izzy it was Vettori, whom he arguably lost to, for Khabib it was Tibau, for GSP it was BJ. If you looked at the aforementioned fights and made a judgement you would think they aren’t cut of championship cloth.

My point is, let’s not judge his entire potential based on a mediocre performance, he already beat Izzy, twice I must say, and that’s an exclusive fraternity that the overwhelming majority of fighters would never qualify for.

Izzy went to a split decision in his second UFC fight, had a competitive fight with 43 year old Silva, and then went to hell and back with Gastelum. Guess what? He still got the belt.

Chill tf out everyone. Bruno Silva's good enough to be ranked in all likelihood, and I think Alex could've gotten him out of there in the 3rd if he really pressed it. Were you all really expecting him to come to the UFC, sleep everyone, and never take a punch?

A potential fight with Izzy is also over a year away in all likelihood. Who tf knows if he'll even still be champion? The judges could've given Whittaker that last fight.
Reasonable stance

The likelihood of him making it to a title shot the old fashioned way seems pretty low tbh. They'd have to fast track him and give him a stylistically easy route.

Hes fun to watch though. I was impressed with Bruno and how he took the fight to Alex standing too.

Worst case scenario for Izzy: he coast to an easy decision. There are levels to this.

I can't see Alex getting past Vettori or Whittaker. Hell I think Gastelum may be able to keep him on the ground and maul him. Bruno is by no means a great grappler and while he was gassed he got Alex down a couple of times. His upright stance does not translate well into MMA if he cracks the top 10.

Alex will have the longest night of his career against Marvin, if they ever match up.
