I don't think it's that surprising tbh. Israel seem to be treating them like they're dealing with Hamas or Hezbollah rather than a proper country with an advancedish military.

I stand corrected. Same exact scenario, different time. The October 1 attack was 200 missiles, not 1,000, and it was in response to Israeli assassinations and attack on Lebannon. Both April and October attacks were more warning shots to save face than anything, and they gave them a heads up that it was coming.

Again, those attacks didn't happen in a vacuum without Israel provocation. I certainly don't agree with attacking civilians, but let's not act like Israel doesn't do that every single day. They just blew up 50 civilians with a tank yesterday who were in line trying to get food.

Yes I was in my teens, been to Afghanistan also. In the middle again now for my career . I know the intel lying about it WMD and what not . There’s also the bay of pigs , the golf of torongia(spelled it wrong I’m sure ). But that’s collaboration thinking, everyone situation is different . Like the gulf war , Korea war , us striking Syria, Kosovo ect . Every time it’s different if you want to think about it critically . People tend to think ventured paths, almost cinematic like .

Think of it this way, if the same type of covert ops network started whacking your country from the inside while it's in a shooting war, how long would it take for you guys to find them and start neutralizing the network?

I don't know about your nation, but it would take my country far longer than Iran to connect the dots and start fighting back.
