Right. I saw that takedown. That's concerning but Ilia defended 8 other takedown attempts in that fight. Bryce went 1/9. In Topuria's time in the UFC his opponents have went 1/14 on takedowns against him. Arman might wrestle him and get it down, but let's not assume that it would be easy.

Yeah but that 1/14 needs the context of almost all of those being Bryce who just went 1/15 on TDs in his last fight before getting choked, and Ryan Hall who flops around and butt scoots but can't actually take anybody down. It's not like he's Jones from 15 years ago putting up those kinds of numbers while fighting Bader, Matyushenko, Hammil, Rashad, Glover and DC. Arman's wrestling is several notches above anybody Topuria's fought.

I agree with Islam 100%. He has proven himself in his division, defended his title several times, fought opponents at the last moment even though he could say no. To then take an arrogant jerk like Topuria risk to lose everything and even if he wins it is not an honorable task.
