Feels like Morales needs to beat one more elite fighter that is a striker before getting his shot.

Islam vs. Garry
Morales vs. JDM or Prates (odd man out vs. Shavkhat)

That's probably the way to go - even though I don't like Garry stylistically/personally, he's a very smart and talented fighter that's earned a shot more so than anyone except Shavkhat. And Shavkhat needs a comeback fight after such a long injury layoff so he can get some momentum and prove he's still on the level.

Im not a fan of islam at all, but you cant say he was untested against top wrestlers, he just beat brady.

I'll only say he's handpicking if he fights usman (which he has already expressed interest in doing)

I say this as an Islam fan: a fight against Morales isn't worth it.

Does Islam squash him? Probably

Is Islam the more complete fighter? Easily.

Could Morales KO him? Possibly.

For the last reason alone, it ain't worth it. Literally any WW but him. Even a bout against Ian Garry & Prates on the same night would be more reasonable.

Losing to someone so fruity would destroy his legacy. Every Morales video I see is zestier than the last.

I'd quit watching MMA there and then. I shudder to think of such an outcome. The best p4p fighter of our generation shouldn't have to put his manhood at stake. Some things are more important than fighting.

i love how clowns make up reasons OUTSIDE OF ACTUAL FIGHTING, for why their idols can't fight dangerous opponents lmao.
