Is there any proof Ngannou fought Gane with no ACL'S?

White confirmed Ngannou will need surgery to repair his knee. As to whether the promotion puts up an interim title, as it did when the champ’s scheduling issues led to a fight between Gane and Derrick Lewis at UFC 265, the UFC exec was less sure.

“I don’t know yet,” White said. “We’ll see how it plays out.”

So Dana confirmed he needed surgery, Francis post video after surgery with Doctors name, and he rehabs at UFC performance institute.

If it was fake Dana would've said something by now.

Still not good enough. I'm going to need to see actual footage of the doctor taking a scalpel to Big Franc's knee.

Which fighter had an injury that had proof? I'll wait. I can use this same logic for anyone you feel like posting and I will just say nope, not enough.

Every fighter who ever said they were injured was lying. There, you can now rest and don't need to worry about this type of thing anymore.

Tito's cracked skull was for real.

looks AI generated to me

He had knee surgery after the fight from everything I can see without doing a deep dive into the validity of the multitude of sources. There isn't any reason to do that unless there was a legit injury.
I suspect Francis went and had surgery for fun.

I guess I am looking for independent doctor statements or scans from before or just after the fight proving it was there.
So you're a moron then?

Even with 'evidence,' remember when the supposed xray of Colby's jaw ended up being fake? We can just keep taking this rabbit hole even further.

I'm not sure MMA is real. I think it's all manufactured. Next thing you know, Dana will be saying fighters went to the "local medical facility," but that's just so they're out of the picture until their surprise return at the Rumble

Francine still panicwrestled againts Gane.. went on to boxing, lost twice and then panicwrestled again in MMA when he fought that brazilian dude on PFL.

I know Ngannou and his camp claimed this, and he wore a knee brace. But I have never seen evidence of this, and in the fight, he moved just fine apart from Gane making him look slow and ploddy. He blasted double legs fine too.

I see this is so commonly cited amongst fans and I just don't understand why people believe it? I have never seen any evidence of it, and it seems awfully convenient way to downplay Gane and justify Ngannou as some beast instead of Gane proving how overrated he is.

Can anybody provide proof Ngannou was genuinely injured against Gane?

I find this myth leads to that fight being completely discounted and changes peoples entire perspective on the relative abilities of Aspinall, Jones, Ngannou, and Gane. IMO it completely proves Jones and Aspinall are a level above and shows how overrated Ngannou is, but it's used as such a cop out to justify Ngannou looking closely matched with a guy Jones dominated.
Same proof that shows Ngannou is doing it to help the other fighters, he said so. Isn't that all the proof you need?

I think this whole narrative is just Frank hate.

It also shows some ignorance in terms of the fight- Francis clearly didn't fight like he usually does; it was painfully obvious.

Seen this "the world owes me an explanation to my stupid question" attitude in a thread yesterday.

Whoever coined the term "there are no stupid questions" obviously never spent time on sherdog.
