I won't deny that Ilia is openly ducking. At the same time Arman doesn't deserve jack shit. He faked an injury 24 hours before his title fight after failing his weight cut miserably. Hasn't fought in over 15 months since his split dec against Charles.

Then he turned down a fight against Gamrot (a guy who beat him) which would've put right back in a conversation. I don't give a fuck if he weighed in as a replacement with zero implications. He needs to win another fight. Until then this conversation is meaningless.

The fans and the division deserve a title fight where the challenger is a legitimate challenger so long as there's at least one available, and that means it's Arman or bust.

You claim Topuria “as of right now is openly ducking” when he just fought 4 weeks ago. I find that amusing for someone who’s been around long enough to know that what fighters might say about potential opponents won’t always align with eventual reality.

If Topuria does indeed end up ducking him for a while they should absolutely strip him.
