Arman deserves the shot. The UFC tolerates all kinds of BS from fighters, why should missing weight be a death sentence? Give arman his shot and give the fans what they want, an actually compelling title fight that we can look forward to. Nobody wants to watch Ilia flatline washed Gaethje!

Its important to note that Arman absolutely did not miss weight and maintains publicly that he did not have a weight problem. Dana is a professional liar and there is absolutely nothing to substantiate that Arman wasn't on weight.

Not that it matters, Arman has literally made championship weight a month ago as backup for Ilia x Charles. This is a nothing burger.

It's crazy that some fans would rather see Paddy/Gaethje get the title shot over a clearly better fighter like Arman because the guy missed weight one time. Also, Max Holloway not only deserves the LW title shot more than those two, but he has a far better shot at beating Topuria than both.

Hopefully they don't cater to casuals here by giving Paddy the shot.

A better fighter and also a more boring one compared to Paddy and JG, that can fuck off to WW or the back of the line after missing weight. Paddy is more popular and actually has a decent streak, JG also deserves a crack more than Sir fucks a title shot up in the last 24hrs, oh and neither of them are liabilities.

Why a fan, with no financial stake in the company, would care about punishing employees or what makes the company the most money over making the best fights with the best fighters is beyond me.

UFC fans are the absolute worst. Their first instinct is to always blame the fighters, even when the UFC is clearly at fault.

Porier gets a title shot off one win: Okay.
Charles gets a title shot off of one win TWICE: Okay.
Justin gets a title shot off one win: SOUND THE ALARM

Honestly, they were okay with Islam ducking half the top 5 to fight Dustin, They were okay with Charles getting a fight against beneil who MORE than earned a shot already, they gave him another with a win off chandler. Radio slience, No complaints. both these situations are so incredibly outrageous but because it's everyones favourite humble hotsauce peddler and Everyones favourite blonde haired serial weight misser, It's okay.

Gaethje getting a title shot is no longer outrageous based on the previously set, previously OKAY precendent. Gaethje NOT getting a title shot would be the other two getting special treatment (which they both did)

Hopefully the ufc does the right thing and treats gaethje the same as everyone else.
