Under the assumption this fight is not signed or verbally agreed for MSG in November, and still in negotiations, meaning the UFC is waiting on Jon.

You give this scenario another 2-3 months for that date as the last two years Jon has fought there in Nov. If it doesn’t get done, by August, Tom and the UFC need to move on and make Tom vs Gane for the vacant belt in MSG.

I think this scenario will work itself out in the next 2-3 months. Jon doesn’t take it, UFC strips him a they and Tom move on.

But Tom has to make the fight for MSG in Jon’s hometown.

If I were Tom, I'd be asking very publicly for the best HW fighter in the world, whether it is Ngannou or Jones. If the UFC can't get a fight to happen, maybe the Saudis need a dance partner for Big Frank.
