Jon vs Tom and Gane vs Tom are two different match ups and could have two different results. One doesn't say much about the other. Jon submitted Gane easily as he's a much better grappler and played to his weakness....Tom may lose a stand up fight to Gane which is a very different fight. Doesn't say how Jon vs Tom goes or who's better.

If Jon or his fans start running their mouths, there's always the reminder the Jon ducked Tom and was terrified to fight him. It's the biggest and most blatant duck in the sports history.

Everything you say it true. I am favoring Aspinal to win here and want him to win, but by no means underestimating Gane. Gane is an elite HW and is going to be a very tough fight for Tom. And if Gane wins the fight, I wouldn't be that surprised. I remember I underestimated Gane vs JDS thinking that JDS boxing will be too much. And Gane just moved well, chopped him down with leg kicks and then took him out.

But to your point about people being convinced Jon was ducking Tom....well he very clearly was and did duck him.

I’ve seen multiple people on here post things to the effect of “it’s impossible to dislike Aspinall,” “he has never done anything in his career to warrant criticism,” or “if you have anything negative to say about him, you’re just hating.” The level of fanboyism is crazy.
