I think Gable Steveson could run through both Ciryl Gane, and Tom Aspinall, right now as an amateur and become UFC champ. He's a bigger , stronger, faster, Daniel Cormier. Gable Steveson is the love child of Brock Lesnar, and Daniel Cormier, Gable will easily take down both Ciryl, or Aspinall, if he doesn't knock them out first, and finish them on the ground. The UFC Heavyweight Division is not ready for Gable Steveson, his only chance of losing is fighting a brawler with KO power such as Derrick Lewis or Pavlovich, if they don't end up on the ground within 15 seconds.

I can't imagine how good Gable Steveson can be if he gets some more experience, and he trains with Jon Jones.

Idk about that. As a regional MMA enjoyer I've been burned by a lot of guys that looked great against lower level comp and then got shadow realmed by Derrick Lewis or someone.

I suspect they're already contributing towards his purses for fight pass promotions and they're just letting him get some experience under his belt before bringing him in.

there are plenty of heavier dagistani fighters. they're just not as good as khabib and islam. i mean one of them was the 205 champion a couple months ago. another one fought last saturday at HW.
