I'm not certain how you can make this designation without a full scope of a persons views but I suppose there is a clear distinction there.Okay, can you see that in that post I specifically said that my gripe is with people who pretend to be moderate, not people who are actually moderate. You understand that distinction right?
Now you can argue that I'm unfair in my designation of who is and isn't moderate but it's not fair to say that I'm self-consciously anti-moderate like you were implying.
Ehhh I guess. There are definitely right wingers and left wingers who reflexively disagree regardless and this isn't exclusive to centrists but point taken. Do you feel the same about those who lack a nuanced view within your own party? Do you ever call them out?Again you guys are conflating centrists and moderates. If you read through those posts my critique is of people who call themselves centrist to portray themselves as above the fray when they're often clueless.
But that doesn't mean I'm against moderating political coalitions, I just think people with firm principles are better allies which means I'll take a moderate center-right ally who has principled disagreements with me over a clueless centrist who reflexively disagrees with both sides because they think that's what they're supposed to do.
This is fair enough, and I'll apologize sincerely this time. It was wrong of me to take snippets out of context in a hastily manner. Most of those people, when I press them to prove their point as I did to you, end up ignoring me or embarrassing themselves. It is annoying when you guys spread these misrepresentations but if not this it'd be something else. Someone ITT accused me of being a socialist for example.
