Which is what I said Poatan was also doing, by being focused on Anakalaev in his daily training but by diverting the public's attention from the fight to make it worse for Anakalaev, precisely why Ankalaev is feeling the need (or Ali, wtv) to make ppl remember "Alex will be fighting me in March!!!' ... After the Khalil fight, when asked if he'd fight Ankalaev, Poatan said he has always wanted the fight but after Ankalaev spread a lot of lies about himself being a coward and be demanding only fights he could win, as well as saying Poatan's native rituals were voodoo and spell that will be punished, then Poatan said he, as always, will make it clear that he wants this fight next, but will also make it harder for Ankalaev. I thought harder meant not fighting and stalling, but it was not, it was fighting him as confirmed but making that not a spotlight at all, to the point he and DDP later after the fight were talking like if Anakalaev and Chimaev weren't even concerns despite the fact they both agreed and wanted to fight them before they can do anything else....
