I feel bad for former WEC Champs

I may have missed it as well. You seem to be saying that Edgar was the best 145 and 135 pound fighter in the world at the time despite not fighting at those weights, but nobody else is buying it.
Yeah he never conceded that point, he's just pretending he did.

It has already been covered, for the love of God get some reading comprehension. I do not want to read an entire thread to you, find some answers for yourself. Especially when they've been said over and over in this very thread and on this very page.

It hasn't been, because you keep avoiding the question. Just name names, man.

So are you saying Frankie Edgar couldn't have beaten anyone in the top 5 of the 135/145 division?

So what's the Venn Diagram between when someone wasn't world champion holding a WEC belt and it being a Legit Championship belt look like? What's the cut off point? How much of it has to due with the relevancy of your taking a keen eye toward the sport? I'm talking about the consensus opinion of Edgar being a natural light weight, not just in the finite parameters of this thread....yeesh. Edgar fighting at 155, whilst Faber fighting at 135? What? You could of just said, Hey...Edgar beat Faber in an actual sanctioned bout. Instead of waxing on about a time where both didn't fight at the same weight class and therefore wasn't even a relevant point. I SAID GOOD NIGHT!

Did you really just say "Venn Diagram"? Ewww. Did you really just use the word legit again? Here...

"it being a Legit Championship belt look like"

Ewww, are you serious dude? I never once used the word legit. I never once said the WEC belt wasn't legit. Are you under the impression that you're speaking to your dumb girlfriend? Consensus? What consensus? Where is your data? What is your sample size? What information did you poll for? Who polled these people? So people who didn't fight in the same weight class at the same exact time can't be compared as fighters? Bwhahahahaha, you can go away now. You've said "good night" a few times but your insecurity keeps pulling you back, huh?

Yeah he never conceded that point, he's just pretending he did.

Learn what conceded means, please.

It hasn't been, because you keep avoiding the question. Just name names, man.

It has, use your brain. Other posters on this very page have figured it out, why can't you?

Ewww you just resorted to calling out my language. That's never a good sign. I will give you props for vigorously arguing your stupid opinion, though. It takes a lot of gut initiative to keep at it with a semblance of knowing what your'e talking about. I used conceded correctly.

I keep saying good night, cause you wont say it back, you rude asshole! Legit asshole.

Oh look the guy who supposedly left two times already is back and is copying me now. No, you didn't use conceded correctly.

So you have nothing to add to the discussion? Got it.

Apparently neither do you. Least of all the names to at least try and back up your outlandish claims. But carry on, I'm sure the ban hammer will drop in short order.

In case you were wondering this is the moment where I along with many others can easily recognize your deep insecurities. Notice how you've completely stopped talking about the topic?
You started doing that when you poopooed my Venn Diagram.

When Faber first won the WEC FW belt, Edgar was 3-0 against a bunch of nobodies. During Faber's 2.5 year reign, Edgar went 7-1 with some solid wins but a loss to Maynard. He wasn't that high up the LW ladder yet. I don't believe it's reasonable to assume he'd have beaten Faber during that period. Especially considering that he didn't fare much better in his eventual fight against Aldo than Faber did. Also consider that Edgar-Aldo was five years after Faber lost the WEC FW title. Not a short time period in this sport.

As for BW, it seems absurd to claim he was ever the best BW when he has never even cut to that weight.

Edit: Wrote Faber-Aldo when I meant Edgar-Aldo.

WEC was so fun back in the day. I miss Joe Martinez too.. he was the ring announcer for it, better than Buffer in my opinion, much smoother voice. There were some great fights in WEC. The only WEC event I ever went to live was WEC 33 and Brian Stann was main event.. it was a good show

To be the best...

The best is/was in Zuffa. Faber will never be forgotten I don't think though. He's a big name in mma.

Then you got a guy like Fedor. Never even attempted the biggest stage with the biggest names.

You tell me where everyone stacks up. I respect each for different things and don't try to downplay their achievements too much.

It is what it is.
