No one under 155 owes Faber any money, or owes him anything. Lots of fighters have evolved at his age, Cruz, Overeem, Frankie, Bisping are the ones off the top of my head. This. WEC had top tier talent at 135 and 145 but there were many Shooto and Pancrase fighters who had not yet made the transition to MMA at the time that would later be considered Bantamweight and Featherweight legends. Kid Yamamoto, Hatsu Hioki, and Marlon Sandro all come to mind as fighters who never fought in the WEC but most likely would have been top contenders and/or champions.
