This, im sorry but Max only does it when he knows his opponent is done. Topuria invited him in the center when both were still fresh in a fair situation and Max pus*ied out. He also didnt do it when Poirier beat the living sh** out of him or when Volk beat the sh** out of him when they fought before. He does it to an already dead horse, not when there is any danger.

Topuria gave him the chance to man up and do it vs someone who wasnt gassed, beat up and mentally not there anymore and Max showed his true colours…

he picks them off at their worst, but how did they get to their worst? it's not like he let someone beat the shit out of the guy and then tagged himself in at the last 10 secs. they're at their worst because he put them there.

Obviously all the respect to him for mostly outclassing his opponents. But I feel like he’s just trying to a get a cheap finish at that point. Knows the opponent is severely diminished, so he lures them into a brawl when they’re basically done. It’s showmanship but also cheap gamesmanship.

He has looked very good at 155, I always thought in that first fight with Poirier at 155 he didn't bulk up properly to go up, but since that Gaethje fight he does look big enough for the weightclass

I know he already lost against Topuria but that was at 145 and out of illia's last 3 victims, Holloway was the one doing it the best, he got caught at the 3er round but he wasn't out cold like the others, it was a TKO.

Topuria has the 155lbs belt and Holloway has the BMF belt at that weightclass also, and I'm pretty sure Holloway would give him also those last 10 seconds war too.
And before somebody brings up their first fight, Topuria wanted to do that at the beginning but Holloway does it at the end of their fights, he puts on a show for 5 rounds and then he gives the fans those last 10 seconds but in that fight he wasn't able to make it to the end, that's why...

He slept Gaethje in those last 10 seconda war and he was also gonna do the same to Poirier but Poirier said fuck this nvm I'm retiring

And also, not only did Topuria do it at the start like you explained, but he also put the real FW belt on the line. Meanwhile, Max wouldn't even put the BMF belt up for grabs.
