On october 7th, Hamas murdered 1.200 Israelis in their attack, including 36 children. Since then Israel have killed 23.000 Palestinians in Gaza, including 10.000 children. Take a breath and let that sink in.
In addition; 60.000 Palestinians injured, >7.000 missing, more than half a million starving, two million displaced, hundreds of thousands sick, 2/3 of all structures destroyed in North Gaza including residential homes and a hospital capacity reduced to 30 percent without power and sufficient medicine, including anesthesia.
Adding to that, in what the UN is calling possibly the greatest humanitarian disaster in modern times, the IDF have assassinated civilians, bombed generations of families, withheld aid, power and food to the civilian population, dropped hundreds of 2000lbs bombs in designated safe zones, openly expressed genocidal intent and made Gaza uninhabitable in their onslaught. People are living worse than animals and there's a single shower per 4.000 person and a single toilet per 200, no shelter and no safe zones. The Israeli government are increasingly arguing for ethnic cleansing while South Africa has filed for attempted genocide at the International Court of Justice and humanitarian organisations investigate crimes against humanity.
That is the reality, and there's no end in sight. How anyone can support the genocide happening in Gaza is beyond me. Look at what is happening there, truly, take a look. 10.000 children, the number is so big that it's hard to understand. If it's too hard, then think of the 36 Israeli children that were killed by Hamas and how that rippled through their society and their families lives were destroyed. Now, think again. Then reflect on the terror inflicted on civilians in Gaza as thousands upon thousands of tonnes of bombs fall from the sky killing their children or how they starve to death and rot on hospital floors as food, water and aid is withheld. They can't go anywhere, they don't have a home and they can't shelter. Now, multiply by the thousands.
