AIPAC can help when there are already strong undercurrents of support and Israeli PM is not openly being confrontational. I definitely agree that no political group should be barred from criticism. The problem is mostly that people who repeatedly use the word “Zionist” aren’t actually criticizing “Zionism”, but seek to use it as a dog whistle in an attempt to dehumanize Israelis in general or Jews globally.
