I just felt like honoring Grizzly Adams today. I don't know why -- it just popped into my head this morning. I will return to Go-Go tomorrow. I don't like it either.

Fatty, we moved back to KY for the summer. Teh wife got a job clerking for a judge starting next June. (She graduates in April) We'll be back in KY in June. Fucking-A. I think I'll go back to UK to get me some legal learning.

Well, first of all, whey is secondary to casein for me. In my opinion, straight whey is best used post-workout only. Ideally, at night, straight casein would be used, though this may be a bit unrealistic as I'll explain later. All other times, you'd want to use a milk protein isolate or better yet, a custom blend with a little higher whey ratio than MPI. I would recommend a whey isolate over a concentrate because some people have gastrointestinal issues w/ concentrates.

Now, since you're from the Fatherland, it might be hard to give you a recommendation for a specific type since I don't know what's available there. At any rate, below is a list I put together some time ago for my own use. The prices shown are aproximately the best online prices you can get.

All The Whey and True Protein are good quality and they have all types. You could get some MPI and some whey isolate from them, use the whey post-workout, the milk protein isolate pre-bed and a mix of MPI and whey in a 2:1 ratio at all other times. With milk protein isolate at an 80:20 casein to whey ratio, the 2:1 mixture would give you a ratio close to what's found in human mothers' milk. Also, it's probably not worth buying straight casein for pre-bed as I mentioned above because of the high casein ratio in MPI... good enough.

All The Whey and True Protein aren't the only good quality proteins, but if you had to go the route of having it shipped, I would choose on of those or ProteinFactory.com because they sell all varieties in large quantities. As far as brands that may be available in the Fatherland, Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey is a hands down favorite. I'll bold the ones I like a lot or know that other people like a lot. You'll have to do the pounds to kilograms conversion.

Lastly, if you want to take it a step further, whey hydroslate with dextrose and maltodextrin is the absolute best protein you can take postworkout. Hydroslates are partially digested so they can enter your system super quick and the high GI carbs further aid in uptake by your body. Approximately 2:1 carbs to protein. Throw in some BCAA's is you want to take it make it even better.
