They’re both terrible. That Weidman fight was one of the worst I’ve ever seen. I can’t think of a worse foul off the top of my head than that and i was furious about it at the time.

Both eye pokes are bad but you can clearly see the difference in intent and how each behaved in the aftermath which was completely different and shows the difference between someone who made a mistake and takes accountability for it and one that makes a mistake, takes zero accountability and even tries to shift blame on the victim. Which is why although I understand people's frustrations about the eye poke but trying to act as if Gane did it on purpose is absurd.
