Fedor's training

I am guessing this got moved from the heavies.

It's funny how Vince's post is of the same caliber as all the other heavies. Ripptoe is good but he's by no means a god, and yes majority of new lifters should read his book, if only as a reference.

Fedor's goal is to win fights, he does not give a fuck if he cant lift a broom...

But yes lets all compare how average joes and new/intermediate fighters should train based on the best fighter to step into the mma ring(ok perhaps exaggeration from my limited mma knowledge but I stand by it)

How he looks plays no role in his performance....sure he could probably tighten up his diet...but as it does not affect his performance....why bother? perhaps he likes to kick back with a couple of beers or ahve some greasy russian food...

While genetically Fedor may be an endomorph with a body that likes to store everything as fat, the main reason he isn't too cut is simply due to a poor Russian diet. Way too many carbs and beers.

DEVILsSON speaks Russian, so he knows more about Fedor's training than any of you.

Also some where it was stated by either nog or fedor that the slight layer of fat helps submission escapes.

i didnt know fedors mom had a sherdog account. fascinating inside perspective.

I really hate this forum.

Me too. Can someone lock this abortion of a thread?

yeah, it was in an interview with Nog. He said it was harder to lock on subs against Fedor because of his slight layer of fat. Also, Fedor likes his vodka.

I'm pretty sure the intention of the thread was simply to discuss how he trains. There's little or no mention of his training being applied to anyone else. No-one is saying follow what he's doing.

I didn't read the thread beyond the first few posts so this may have been said already, but FEDOR DOES DEADLIFTS AND SQUATS between fights.

For whatever it's worth.

This was stated in a recent interview with a Finnish mma magazine.

No, but I would appreciate a good in-depth explanation of elliptical curve cryptography.

Elliptic curve cryptography is an approach to public-key cryptography based on the algebraic structure of elliptic curves over finite fields. The use of elliptic curves in cryptography was suggested independently by Neal Koblitz and Victor S. Miller in 1985.

Elliptic curves are also used in several integer factorization algorithms that have applications in cryptography, such as Lenstra elliptic curve factorization, but this use of elliptic curves is not usually referred to as "elliptic curve cryptography", being rather a cryptanalysis tool for factorisation-based public key cryptosystems.

One of which is the means by which to decipher bear language during the negotiations in the exchange of wrestling tutorials for a compensation of icecream.

Ox there were a few lifters implying that because fedor does not train a certain way then a lot of what is being advocated in this forum is unnecessary....ie. squat, deadlifts, etc. I am merely saying do not draw too much training ideas from his training as none of the people here are in his stratosphere.

So what is an elliptical curve?

What properties do they possess that make them good for public key cryptography?

Threads like this give me a fucking head ache
